British Library web archive
We feel very honoured that the British Library has asked to archive www.writersservices.com in its web archive. With the kind permission of A & C Black Ltd, who own the copyright in the Writers’ and Artists’ Yearbook agents’ listings which are on the site, we have given permission for this archiving and here's where the archived site can be found. The UK Web Archive is a corpus of websites selected by leading UK institutions for their historical, social and cultural significance in the UK, for the benefit of researchers. Snapshots of each title, known as instances, are taken at suitable intervals to keep the archive up to date. The archive is free to view and has already collected over 4,000 selected websites since it was set up in mid-2005. Websites are either selected by subject specialists within the participating institutions or have been successfully nominated for archiving. They are gathered with permission from the website content owners. Finding sitesArchived sites may be searched alphabetically under their titles, by URL and by a controlled set of subject categories. Additionally themed collections such as Women’s issues, Blogs and the General Election 2008, have been developed to build up topical, in-depth resources.
