Self-publishing is an exciting prospect.

WritersPrintShop's design, print and distribution service is designed to support self-publishers and to take on a lot of the hassle involved in becoming a publisher.
You've done all the really hard work of writing.  Now you can get your book ready for self-publishing without needing a diploma in printing - and without spending a vast amount of money.
For many writers it may be the solution they are looking for, enabling them to get their book into print and putting an end to time-consuming submissions to agents and publishers.

The Overview will help you get a sense of what self-publishing is all about and why it might suit you.  We don't recommend sitting down and reading through all the pages in WritersPrintshop, although we have provided a lot of information which is there for when you need it.

Is self-publishing for you?  this will give you a sense of the work that's involved to help you decide whether self-publishing is the right thing for you.
What is self-publishing? this page looks at what it means to be a publisher and helps you to work out the differences between self-publishing, private publishing and vanity publishing.
Private Publishing may be what you need if you don't feel like selling your book, but want it printed to give away to family and friends, as a promotional item or as course notes.
The advantages of Print on Demand Print on Demand offers real benefits for self-publishers, including the relatively low cost and minimal risk involved in getting your book into print.
The Package - what is included takes you through exactly what you get for your money. There is more detail on this in the How to Order section.
Are you 'out of print'? If you want to get your work (or someone else's) back into print, we can do this quickly and cheaply.
What needs doing key tasks involved in getting your book ready for self-publishing, to help you work out what you still have to do.
Frequently asked questions will answer any other questions you may still have.
If you're still not sure about self-publishing, you could look at our Just Thinking about it? section.
Can you take it? a set of ten fictionalised letters gives you the low-down if you're still brooding on whether or not to take the plunge.
There are a range of competitions for those who achieve publication.
